ObriensO'Briens Lead Team
Any successful initiative requires qualified leadership with experience. We are fortunate to have Bill and Dellanna O’Brien coordinating our efforts to show love and hope to a people who have been so devastated by the tsunami that hit Indonesia December 26, 2004.

The O’Briens lived on the island of Java in Indonesia for eight years from 1963-1971. Upon returning to the United States they assumed management roles in large organizations, taught at universities, and developed a Global Center at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Both are fluent in the Indonesian language and knowledgeable of the culture, customs and government.

Livelihood Kits Distributed
We are happy to report that all of the farmers', carpenters' and mechanics' livelihood kits have been delivered, as well as the equipment for the fishermen's livelihood kits.

300 Orphans Clothed
As Ramadan (the month of fasting for Muslims) approached, preparations were being made everywhere for exchange of gifts, including new clothes, which is part of the annual celebration at the close of the month of fasting. But more than 300 orphans in KS had no hope of receiving anything
