The clinic serving KM in Banda Aceh had been almost totally devastated. Several of the medical staff, including doctors, nurses, technicians and others were killed. Aceh Link provided personnel to oversee the reconstruction of the clinic. World Vision provided the budget. This was the best known and busiest of all public health clinics in the city.

Restoration of the first phase of the clinic was finished in time to turn the operation back to the Public Health Department of Banda Aceh at the close of Ramadan. Compassion Frisco and Aceh Link personnel met with Dr. K, the director of the clinic to further offer help beyond construction when the clinic reopens. Training programs and volunteers will mean a lot as this clinic begins serving the community again.
