As Ramadan (the month of fasting for Muslims) approached, preparations were being made everywhere for exchange of gifts, including new clothes, which is part of the annual celebration at the close of the month of fasting. But more than 300 orphans in KS had no hope of receiving anything until partners who work with Concern for Kids and Joyful Children made arrangements for the purchase and personal delivery of the new clothes for the children. Items were purchased from local stores in KS, which helped the local economy. Imagine the joy experienced by the children when they received their very own brand new clothes.

Partners within Indonesia, and friends from abroad made all this possible, and local partners implemented the transactions.
